Our Family Support initiative is aimed at adult family members affected by someone else’s drinking and/or drug use. However we realise that young people may also thing ‘where can I get support?’

Some options are outlined below.

Steps to Cope features online support and resources for young people aged 11 to 18 affected by their mum and/or dad’s drinking behaviour.

Visit: www.stepstocope.co.uk

ARE YOU A YOUNG CARER?

There are also specialist services for children affected by parental substance misuse (Hidden Harm) available across Northern Ireland.

These require a referral by your local Social Services department/team.
